Tettenhall Relief in Need Fund are looking for someone to join the board of trustees. If anyone would be interested please speak to the Church Warden who will be happy to explain more.

The Bible Course: Tuesday 20 January, 7.30pm, at The Rectory. Final session!
Fabric & Finance Meeting: Wednesday 21 January, 7.30pm at 11 Bramstead Avenue.
The funeral service for the late Jennifer Childs will take place on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 12 noon at Christ Church. Family flowers only with donations if desired to be split equally between "Mother's Union" and the charity "Smile"- a charity to correct children's cleft palates. The cremation will take place the following day attended by sons Mark, Nicholas and husband Clive. The funeral reception will be held in the Jubilee Room following the funeral in church. Clive and his sons would like to request those people planning to attend Jennifer's funeral to consider possibly not wearing dark clothing as the service is a celebration of their beloved Jennifer's life. Men, not to necessarily wear a black tie. Of course, people must feel free to wear what they choose.
The Annual Covenanting Churches Service for Christian unity will be at St Michael & All Angels on Sunday 25 January at 6.00pm. The service will be in the context of choral evensong, but adapted to the theme of Christian unity and including members of different churches with readings, prayers etc. Tea and cake after the service.

PCC Meeting: Thursday 29 January 2026, 7.30pm in JR.
Christingle Service: Sunday 01 February 2026, 5pm at CC.

PCC meeting held 27th November 2025
14 PCC members attended. 3 observers from GS. 4 apologies
1. Rev Lin opened the meeting with prayer.
2. Growing Discipleship – Mission Action Plan approved for following year.
3. Minutes PCC 25th Sep approved.
4. Matters arising. CC cleaner until end Jan.
5. Treasurers’ reports: CC: Income on par with last year.
GS. No new big expenses Gift aid claim due. Thanks expressed to Treasurers for their hard work in keeping accounts.
6. GS Report. Change of service time to 10am from Jan 20206 was approved. Cafe style worship on 2nd Sunday of the month. Work on grounds approved up to £1500.
7. CC F & F report received.
8. CAP (Christians against Poverty) report received prior to meeting. Proposal to set up Debt counselling service in Wolverhampton. Contact also being made with Mission Aviation Fellowship
9. Safeguarding report presented. Advice sought from Diocese. Training on-going.
10. Deanery Synod report presented. Rev Alison spoke on Diocesan synod.
11. Forth coming events discussed.
12. AOB. Wedding / funeral fees agreed at last meeting. ‘Voluntary fees’ unchanged.
13. Next PCC meeting 29th Jan with standing committee 13th Jan
